Miiverse held a poll this month asking fans to pick their top three games for both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS for the 2015 year. It’s no surprise that Splatoon took the lead for the Wii U games, followed up by Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
The really interesting surprise is that taking the top spot for the Nintendo 3DS is a fifteen-year-old game, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Coming in at second place was the newest entry into the handheld Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate clocked into the third spot as best game of 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.
