Nintendo has announced that its Nintendo World Store located on Rockefeller Plaza will be getting a major rebrand and renovation this year. The store will close for a month on January 19 and will not re-open until February 19. When it reopens, it’ll be branded as Nintendo NY with an updated interior design.
According to the report, the new design will feature a giant golden coin inlaid with the company’s motto on the floor. With the relaunch, Nintendo will be hosting several different festivities, including having costumed characters on hand and demo stations for upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games.
