Splatoon has been taking Japan by storm, finally selling over 1 million copies of the game in that country alone. We’ve seen some pretty zany things come out of Japan and their love of Splatoon, such as this pop-up store that sold Splatoon merchandise over the holidays.
Now it looks like Splatoon is making a fashion statement in the real world, thanks to Takara-Tomy. The manufacturer has seven different designs for Splatoon watches, which you can see above. The watch opens to reveal the time hidden inside.
These look like something you’d find in a cereal box as a prize in the late 90s, but that’s probably part of their charm. What do you think?
