Nintendo just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to maintenance, as Super Mario Maker will be down for a total of around 36 hours due to a bug. Nintendo has posted the downtime for the game on their official Network Status page and has stated that a bug found in Create mode is the reason for the maintenance.
The game is already down right now and won’t be back up until 8pm EST tomorrow. According to the maintenance page, a software update will be required for the game once maintenance is complete.
