Last month we told you that the Nintendo World Store in New York would be closing down for more than a month in order to do some major renovations and overhaul the store completely. Now it looks like those renovations are well on their way to being completed, as Nintendo has sent out a special invite to press inviting them for an early look at the grand re-opening of the Nintendo World Store on February 19.
According to the announcement, the store has been newly remodeled with several Nintendo-themed surprises, including a new 15-foot gaming screen. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Mario will be available, with several Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games playable inside the store at various kiosks. Press will get an hour tour of the new store by themselves before the store opens to the general public again on February 19.
Expect to see some amazing pictures of the new store once that date rolls around.
