Developer Oddworld Inc. has had a hard time with the Wii U version of Oddworld: New n’ Tasty, first announcing troubles dealing with the 8GB version of the Wii U. 8GB is not enough to install the game, so the team was looking for a way to make this game available for those who own the Wii U Basic. That issue seems to have been sorted, as today the game is finally available on the Nintendo eShop.
Oddworld: New n’ Tasty is a remake of the classic 2D platformer-puzzler, Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey. Abe is a mudokon who works as a janitor at Rupture Farms, before discovering that the glukkon’s in charge of the company want to put his fellow mudokons on the menu. Escaping from Rupture Farms with his mudokon buddies in tow means sneaking past sligs and other traps, all while rescuing your friends you find along the way.
