Twilight Princess HD is releasing on March 4 for Wii U owners, but there’s more than just an HD coat of paint to the release. New additions include an item called the Ghost Lantern, which glows when in the same area as a Poe. This improvement makes the ghosts much easier to retrieve.
Additionally, Hero Mode is here and available from the get go. In this new mode, Link takes double the normal damage and there are no heart drops in the game. If Link’s wallet is full when he finds rupees in a chest, they’ll be lost forever instead of returned to the chest. The wallet size has also been modified to hold more rupees as well.
Additionally, Nintendo has officially announced that the only way to get the Wolf Link amiibo is by purchasing the Twilight Princess HD bundle, as the amiibo will not be sold separately. Check out footage of the Wolf Link amiibo dungeon, Cave of Twilight above.
