Noted leaker Emily Rogers has been busy on Twitter this weekend, discussing the upcoming Nintendo NX and some of the games coming for it. We already know that Zelda Wii U is heavily rumored to be a launch title for the NX as well, but according to Rogers we could see more Wii U ports as launch titles for the NX.
In one tweet, Rogers stated that Nintendo fans make fun of Sony and Microsoft for the amount of remastered ports available on the Xbox One and the PS4, but Rogers notes that Nintendo might very well do the same with the Wii U. Those tweets have since been deleted from Roger’s account, but here’s the text below.
We laugh at Nintendo’s competitors, but don’t be shocked if Zelda U, Smash Bros U, or Xenoblade X get NX versions.
Right now I can’t speak on what is coming to NX beyond Zelda. But as we get closer to E3, I’ll talk more about NX.
What do you think? Do you think Nintendo will bring more Wii U titles to the Nintendo NX? The adoption rate for the Wii U is less than 15 million at this point and with all signs pointing to the NX being announced this year at E3, it wouldn’t surprise us to see some Wii U games peppered among the launch list.
