Platinum Games president Tatsuya Minami has stepped down, as reported by GamesBusiness.JP. Minami helped the creation of many Wii U titles while serving as Platinum’s president, including The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, and the soon-to-be-released Star Fox Zero. Minami started his career in game development with Capcom, before leaving the company in 2006. Kenichi Sato will replace him, serving as an executive director before this change.
It should be noted that Star Fox Zero hasn’t gone over well in reviews, with certain outlets like Polygon expressing that the game exhibits everything bad about Wii U game design and even refusing to review the title officially.
