Super Mario Maker has given players an unrivaled amount of creative power when it comes to players making their own levels, but this is the first time we’ve seen a player create a full collection of levels that are meant to be cohensive and played together like an actual Mario game.
Posted on the Super Mario Maker subreddit by user Kosten_Rei, a set of 40 levels using the mechanics of Super Mario World captures the feel of playing an entirely new Mario game, just not one created by Nintendo. The worlds are divided up into 10 worlds with four levels each and each level retains the food theme found in Super Mario World.
Curious about the levels? Hit up the reddit thread to see the Course IDs and have a play around with them. Let us know what you think about this entirely user-created Mario game!
