Pokémon has long been a major franchise for the Nintendo family. It’s also been a series the company has experimented with. This year we’ve already seen a new 3D fighter with Pokkén Tournament, and the series will soon find itself on mobile platforms with Pokémon Go. Let’s also not forget the unique, Detective Pikachu.
With all these new avenues being explored, there is one that many fans have long requested. A home console game. Sure there have been Pokémon games on home consoles before, but never as a main series Pokémon RPG experience. With the NX on the horizon, is it time we see this idea become a reality?
In the following video, I examine the potential for a Pokémon game on the NX.
Would you like to see a main series Pokémon game built for home consoles? Do you think it would be a system seller for the NX? Let us know in the comments.
