On this day, exactly 5 years ago, Wii U Daily launched. It was shortly after Nintendo revealed the new console at E3 2011 — I thought the Wii U was too cool and innovative not to have a dedicated news site.
So I launched Wii U Daily and kept updating it with the latest news about the console. And the site quickly grew to the biggest Wii U news site in the world, where it has remained ever since.
You can find the very first article I published on that day here. We’ve come a long way since: to date, writers have written almost 6,000 news articles on Wii U Daily.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our readers and our community for sticking with us. And yes, we have some exciting new stuff in the pipeline!
