The NX controller has long been debunked as a fake, even by its creator, but that didn’t prevent him (or someone) from trying to pass it off as the real deal on eBay and cash in on the action.
It appeared in an eBay auction earlier today, with a starting bid at $4,000 and a purchase price of $10,000. The auction is no longer there, presumably because eBay realized it was fake as hell and took it down.
The seller did add some more photos of the controller, including one with a fake “PROPERTY OF NINTENDO” sticker on the back.
