Ubisoft was the biggest third party supporter of the Wii when it launched. It was also the biggest third party supporter of the Wii U when it launched as well.
So we wouldn’t be surprised if Ubisoft has a great lineup of NX games next year, and so far the French publisher has been very positive on the NX.
Recently, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot commented on the NX. Speaking to shareholders, he said:
“On the NX, what we have seen is really great, so we think having a new machine coming is going to help the industry to continue to grow and to take lots more casual players back in the industry.”
Last month, Ubisoft’s Alain Corre said that the NX will “recapture a lot of lapsed Wii players who passed on the Wii U“.
