Mass Effect 3 Wii U features

Mass Effect 3 Wii U
Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U will feature the same third person styled gameplay that the series is known for. The Wii U version will utilize the GamePad tablet controller for inventory management, dialogue choices, and will be implemented into the cut scenes as well. While the GamePad will offer additional features, Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U can be played with the Wii U Pro controller, for those looking for a more conventional control mechanism. The Wii U version will also include the “Earth” multiplayer DLC and the Extended Cut as well. The Extended Cut provides a longer game ending that ties up the plot and character arcs. Multiplayer wise, the there is support for both offline and online co-op with up to 4 players at the same time.

The Mass Effect 3 Wii U edition will also include an interactive graphic novel which explains the events of the previous two Mass Effect games. Players will be able to make decisions in the novel and throughout the story which will affect their game in Mass Effect 3.

It’s a great game, but it’s much better if you play all 3 of the games to get a better understanding of the universe, and to craft your own story. Sure you get the graphic novel with several choices, but it helps you create a personal connection to the characters and environments.

Can’t wait for this game to come out. I had it for ps3 but didn’t finish because all sony hardware i’ve owned has broke (and microsoft). Maybe i’ll be able to see how the story drags out here.
