Nintendo Wii U games
The list of Nintendo Wii U games — first party titles — includes all major Nintendo franchises. Nintendo will be bringing their biggest franchises, starting with Pikmin 3 and Super Mario at launch. Later on, we’ll be seeing Zelda, Smash Bros, and Metroid on the new console. So far, the list of official Nintendo Wii U games includes half a dozen titles. But it’s almost certain that more games will be added in the future.

So far the company has officially announced 9 first party Nintendo Wii U games. Three of those titles as publisher-only. Nintendo will likely pace themselves in releasing major titles on the Wii U in the next few years. The company is also rumored to be working on Animal Crossing and an untitled Pokemon game for the Wii U, scheduled for release sometime in 2013 or 2014. It’s also safe to assume that its motion control titles such as Wii Sports and Wii Play will arrive on the new console at some point in the future.
