Rabbids Party Land
Rabbids Party Land, also known as Rabbids Land, is a party game made by Ubisoft for the Wii U. Rabbids Party Land supports up to 4 players at the same time, with one player using the Wii U tablet controller, while others use regular Wiimotes. The game is based on a series of party games and mini games, much like Mario Party. Players will control several different types of Rabbids through a series of games and events. Rabbids Party Land will be the 7th installment in the Rabbids series by Ubisoft, and the first title on the Wii U. Another game, called Rabbids Rumble, is expected to be released on the Wii U in 2012 as well. Rabbids Party Land is expected to utilize the new Wii U NFC chip, which makes it possible for the game to interact with real world objects that have NFC chips embedded. Ubisoft showcased a trailer for Rayman Legends where the player could import Rabbids by setting a Rabbids figurine on the Wii U controller.
Rabbids Party Land features
Rabbids Party Land (or Rabbids Land) is for the most part a multiplayer title where players take turns to try and beat each other. Like the previous game in the series, Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party for the Wii, the new title will also include a series of microgames, lasting only a few seconds and are displayed between the regular mini games. Online multiplayer and leaderboards are also expected to be featured in Rabbids Party Land. Local multiplayer will be expanded with up to 8 players in turn-based game modes, and 4 players playing at the same time. The player using the Wii U controller will have access to extra features and will either play against the other 3 players, or work as a team leader guiding the team through the mini games. We’ll have more on the Wii U features once Ubisoft fully announces the game.
